Pricing & Payment
Northside Tutoring offers clear, transparent pricing for subject tutoring and test prep. Contact us for a free consultation — we will walk through the right option for your student.
- 01One-on-one subject tutoring: $150/hr (English, Math, History, Science).
- 02One-on-one test prep: $165/hr (ACT, SAT, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, GRE).
- 0310-hour subject tutoring package: $1,500 total (processing fee included).
- 04Score Boost Sprint: $545 total — concentrated 4-hour one-on-one test prep for students within two weeks of test date.
- 05Subject Small Group Tutoring (2–5 students): $95/hr per student.
- 0620-Hour Test Prep Cohort: $695/month for 4 months or $2,780 total.
- 0710-Hour Test Prep Cohort: $350/month for 4 months or $1,400 total.
Typical outcomes: 15–20 percentile point increase on the SSAT, 120–350 score improvement on the SAT, and 3–7 points on the ACT. Subject grades typically improve by one letter (C → B).

Policies
- 01Changing Location: We reserve the right to modify the location of an in-person lesson due to inclement weather, tutor illness, or other eventualities — converting to online when appropriate.
- 02Tutor Rescheduling: Tutors may reschedule at any time. If they reschedule within 24 hours of the lesson start, a makeup will be provided at a mutually amenable time.
- 03Refunds: 30 days after date of purchase; pro-rated, unused portion only.
- 0420 Minute Wait Policy: Tutors wait 20 minutes for a student's arrival. If the student doesn't arrive, the client is charged and the tutor is compensated for the full lesson.
- 05Bundle Swapping: Upon request, Northside may re-direct remaining funds between package types (subject ↔ test prep) at management's discretion.
- 06Student Dismissal for Conduct: If a student is found engaging in unethical or illegal behavior, Northside may terminate without refund.

All tutors undergo background checks and a thorough application and interview process. Robert personally matches tutors with students for every project.

Last year, of 5 students who applied to Westminster, 4 were accepted; the 5th secured a place at Marist with a 98th percentile SSAT score. Our students have gained acceptance to UGA, GA State, Emory, GA Tech, and Ivy League institutions including Stanford, Vanderbilt, Duke, UVA, and Georgetown.
Private Tutoring — Process & Focus
Robert is a Stanford- and Oxford-trained tutor; he and his staff maintain high pedagogical standards. We have local tutors, tutors in the Ivy League, and tutors throughout the top 25 colleges. We first and foremost tutor to propagate higher grades and scores. We also tutor for enrichment and to catch up or get ahead.
Scheduling
Tutors set convenient appointments with each student. We typically encourage families to schedule at least one lesson per week — consistency and frequency are integral to every child's learning. Northside Tutoring is open 7 days a week and tutors on weekends and holidays.
Communication with Tutor
Robert, tutors, and clients use our online portal — communication is fluid and instantaneous. Robert makes every effort to intercede in real-time should issues arise. Our level of personalization is unparalleled in the local Atlanta market.
Open Client PortalIn-Home Tutoring
Tutors come to homes in Buckhead, Brookhaven, Midtown, Morningside, Smyrna, Sandy Springs, and Dunwoody. We also offer tutoring at our Learning Center and in neutral locations.
Can I hire a private teacher to homeschool my child?
If you're looking for a private homeschool tutor in Atlanta, we have the capacity to help. While our primary service is part-time after-school tutoring, we can discuss a more full-time teaching schedule.
