SSAT vs. ISEE

The SSAT and the ISEE

Students applying to top private schools often take the SSAT or the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Both assess academic skills for middle and high schools. The SSAT, with its focus on reasoning and critical thinking, is often the preferred test for private high schools. The ISEE has its own specific content and format.

Our team is skilled in preparing students for both — whether your child takes the SSAT or the ISEE, we build a customized plan that ensures they excel.

Middle & Upper Levels

Two levels, one tailored approach

Level I.

Middle Level (Grades 5–7)

We focus on building core skills — vocabulary and fundamental math concepts — needed for private middle school admission.

Level II.

Upper Level (Grades 8–11)

Advanced math, reading comprehension, and vocabulary needed for private high school admission. We help 8th-grade students and beyond reach their target scores.

Public to Private

Moving from public school? We make it easier.

Private schools have different expectations, and the SSAT's unique format may require additional preparation. Our tutors understand these challenges and offer guidance that makes this transition easier for public school students.

We make sure students are ready not just for the SSAT but for the private school environment itself — giving them a real competitive edge.
