A Good LSAT Score
Aim for a minimum of 150.
For top-ranked law schools, aim for 160+. For Top 10 law schools, you will typically need 170 or above.
Average — Solid
A 150 score places you around the average for LSAT test-takers. Many law schools have median LSAT scores of 150 or below, so this score does not preclude admission.
Favorable
Generally regarded as favorable and opens doors to many prestigious law schools. Aligns with the median at many respected institutions.
Excellent — Top 2-3%
A score of 170 is nearly always seen as excellent and lands you in the top 2-3% of LSAT participants. Often necessary for Top 10 law schools.
